Review on FLUENTPOWER Utility Stainless Submersible Adapter by Hank Mistretta

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's not pretty but it does the job, dirty water and all.

The only downside is that the float switch has a small hole where it has room to move. ----- New pump, second pump, new pump leaks where the power cords come out of the stainless steel housing. This leakage is small and is caused by the top of the motor housing being pressed against the bottom of the stainless steel housing. (see first picture) -- The first pump I disassembled still pumps but makes bearing noises. I placed the new pump in an 18" x 24" fiberglass pit with 1/2" holes in the bottom which should keep out and also prevent the rocks that stopped the first pump's motor for many hours that the float switch comes stuck in. Wall of a mud pit which caused the pump to run for hours without water.I had to remove the bottom of the first pump several times to clear small rocks, in doing so I noticed two of the four heads the bottom mounting bolts broke off so I used coated zinc bolts to fasten, bad idea, these bolts erode quickly so I bought M4-0.7 x 16mm stainless steel bolts which solved this problem (I checked the PH of the Wassers tested which is 7 so I'm confused as to what to erode the zinc plated bolts) . )

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
