I shopped a lot before deciding on this lamp. I didn't need it before because my case was all glass, but my new one is wood and doesn't let in much light from the space around it. Since I'm using it on a gecko, I didn't have to control the two lights separately (as can be the case with other animals), so it's perfect. It only takes up one outlet and works great with my timer. I used a regular LED bulb for home use on one side and a ReptiSun 2.0 for enrichment on the other. You're doing a great job of illuminating my new case.
