Compared to how the OEM feels when turning and locking, this is a far cry. You hardly feel it snap into place. I took my first ride with it and when I tried to "zoom in" with the side buttons, the Elemnt unlocked and was twisted almost halfway to the point where I lost it. Even before my first ride with it I had my doubts as the element in this adapter has significant play in the locked position. Save yourself a few hundred, but don't lose your element and get OEM for an extra 10.
