The Eheim 200 pump is very quiet and appears to be made of very durable material. It also includes two small plastic air vents, air lines (hooks) and one-way valves to prevent water from returning to the pump, which are great additions to this pack. However, this pump is very weak and cannot fill a 6" or 7" jet in a standard 55 gallon tank! I thought that such a feat was not possible for a reputable brand like Eheim, especially when it comes to the most expensive air pump on the market, and concluded that my unit was defective. I returned it and got another one exactly the same (Revain did a great job of exchanging it for me) BUT the second one was just as weak! This confuses Eheim. The 200 is meant to power tanks up to 60 gallons, and I expect it to do more than two tiny diffusers, which I haven't even used. My super old and cheap Topfin pump has many times more power (but too loud). The second device was also returned. Now I'm looking forward to trying the Tetra Whisper AP 150.
