Incredibly overpriced and overpriced.

The air pressure in this pump is sufficient to power two foam filters in a 60 gallon size 55 or larger aquarium. It's also incredibly loud, the equivalent of a Fluval or Whisper air pump. I feel like this item is only being sold for the merits of its brand, not performance. If you're looking for a quieter air pump, this isn't it. Even though it is initially quieter than much cheaper air pumps, after a month it will be as noisy as any other cheap pump on the market.

Very quiet, no break-in required

Received my EHheim air pump and am delighted. It's very quiet. I used a Tetra 100 and it had enough power but was insanely noisy in my aquarium cabinet. This unit is so quiet I can't hear it outside the closet. Exactly what I was looking for. I'm not sure if it has the same performance as the 100, but it's enough to run two sponge filters and an Eheim diffuser. Definitely enough power for what I was looking for and hopefully stays quiet for a long time.

15 months review: Error

Bought this Eheim 200 at the end of March 2019. Up until a few weeks ago I was impressed, the performance was good, the noise level was zero and my fish were happier. You could say. But a few weeks ago I noticed that the performance was dropping. I changed another filter disc and replaced the sponge filter but that didn't help. what else can I do? I decided to just watch her and started looking for someone else. Well, today my eheim 200 broke down after 15 months of use, now there is no airโ€ฆ

Peace and Peace at Fish & Aquatic Pets

I have had this air pump for 2 months now and it works great and is still QUIET. I use it in a 20 gallon tank with 1 bubble wall, 1 rock and both bubblers that come with the pump. I believe it's powerful enough to fire another tank since both dials are in their lowest position. I was able to hang it on a hook next to the tank because it's so QUIET - I didn't have to hide it in the closet wrapped in towels to muffle the noise. I am very happy with this purchase! I have been in the aquariumโ€ฆ

Nearly 5 stars for aquarium pumps and filters

Well, like most DIYers, my main complaint was the air pump (any pump) noise. I've tried probably 95% of the ones on the market. Then I came across this one, made in Germany. CALM! FINALLY QUIET PUMP! Of course it's more expensive, but believe me, it's worth it. I took off a star, I would have given it 5 stars, but the bubble button adjustment, while it works, does NOT noticeably adjust the bubbles. What I'm saying is that as you turn the knobs to increase or decrease bubble flow, the result isโ€ฆ

Quiet and powerful, BUT TOO WEAK!

The Eheim 200 pump is very quiet and appears to be made of very durable material. It also includes two small plastic air vents, air lines (hooks) and one-way valves to prevent water from returning to the pump, which are great additions to this pack. However, this pump is very weak and cannot fill a 6" or 7" jet in a standard 55 gallon tank! I thought that such a feat was not possible for a reputable brand like Eheim, especially when it comes to the most expensive air pump on the market, andโ€ฆ

As expected, very quiet

We have set up a 26 gallon aquarium in the main kitchen/family area. It is very important that the pump and other accessories are silent because we spend a lot of time here. My previous pump was a $25 diaphragm pump, but it was too loud. After a lot of reading and research I got this pump hoping it would be quieter. It seemed a little quieter at first, I didn't take measurements, but when I ran the old and new pumps side by side there was a noticeable difference. . However, to my pleasantโ€ฆ

Didn't deserve any positive feedback - outrageously bad performance

In a nutshell: very disappointed, returned immediately. This pump wasn't broken per se, but it didn't work AT ALL. It was not even possible to operate a single bubbler decoration from both air outlets combined with a T-shaped valve. We have a 40 gallon freshwater aquarium for an axolotl. For the last few years we have still used an extremely cheap unbranded air pump that was designed for our previous 10 gallon starter tank when our Axie was tiny. It works great and produces enough air but isโ€ฆ
