Review on Absolute CAM1000S Universal License Waterproof by Kyle Pickett

I installed this camera on my fiance's Pathfinder 2 months ago. The picture quality during the day is excellent. You can see everything very clearly. The picture quality is good at night. You can still see everything. but it's black and white. So far, no water has migrated into the lens block when washing the truck. I think this is a very good buy and I will be buying another one to install on my Scion TC. This is September 2nd, 2012. That thing burned down about a month ago. It is not known if water got in, if it has a manufacturing defect or if it has reached its useful life. I really like this camera so I'm going to order another one and see how long the next one lasts. I will give a 5 star rating and see what happens. Updated 09/16/2012. I just found that when fixing the interior panels after installation, I pinched the camera's video cable and the main unit's power-on cable with the seat belt bolts, which shorted out the video camera. It's one of those "shit happens" things. The camera still works and my fiancee is happy again so I have no complaints about this product!
