Installed in the office as they said it would work with existing wiring. Well, during a call there was an echo in the headset and the voicemail was very quiet. When they called X16 tech support, they said they changed settings on the system to try and fix the audio issues. They helped a little, but after setting up voicemail and headset, there was a slight echo in the headset during a call. The speaker was now somehow too quiet for others to hear when you spoke, so guessing one of the other settings affected that setting. Tried to do X16 settings but told me no luck, must be defective device as all the reviews about the system were positive, so I bought it for now. Now using the NEC system instead and there is still no echo in the headphones with the default settings and the voicemail also works with the default settings on the new system so the cables were not the cause of my x16 system problem.
