Not sure how well this works. This probably works well to prevent parasitic or bacterial infections. However, I can say that after 5 days of treating my koi it does not do anything against active infections or parasites. After that didn't work, I decided to try praziquantel. And it fixed my koi within 24 hours. So if you're looking for a true miracle worker, you'll have to look elsewhere. If you only want to disinfect the pond habitat as a whole, then this is necessary.
