One quart was enough for three coats of paint on the outside of my very old 14 foot aluminum boat. I applied the paint with a 4" foam roller. The first coat covers poorly, but the second and third coats perfectly. I used a wire brush on a drill to remove old paint and repaired areas before applying Gluvit sealant and then applied TotalBoat paint. I applied the paint when the outside temperature was around 82 degrees. The paint dries very quickly. Very happy with the results. "Army Green" is a bit lighter than I thought it would be, but still happy with the results.I will buy another liter to paint the inside of the boat and try spraying it inside.
