I do a lot of auto repairs and consider myself a very experienced home mechanic. However, it was one of the most difficult repairs I've done in years. There's just no place to put your hands in and the door lock bar REALLY gets in the way and hurts. But it's not the doorknob's fault. Once I managed to install it, it works just as well as the original and looks well made. A little bit of useful info: you'll need a 10mm open-end wrench (no compromise here with an adjustable wrench) and a flathead screwdriver. I also found bright shop lighting and an ice pick. However, it is tedious work at best.
