So far I like PowerECO products. PowerECO 100W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel with 20A 12/24V PWM Waterproof Charge Controller. This one seems more battery oriented than a power plant, but claims to be able to power both at the same time. What's great about it: Pros = Folds into just 2 pieces instead of 4 or 10 pieces like my other two = It's hooked up to another 100w panel which is easy to add = Love the integration of the solar charger into the unit itself = The charge controller can handle up to 360W Cons = The price of $315 is insane. That's about $140 more than the others. I think the price includes the cost of a better solar charge controller or pre-wiring. = Because it only folds in two, it's quite bulky and less portable = If you don't like this solar charger, I don't know how easy it is to swap out for one from another manufacturer. = the legs aren't as adjustable as I would like when the sun is at the right angle, but that seems to be a problem with almost every kit = it doesn't seem to include all the different cables for power plants = the installation includes solar panels, which are connected to the control box (as mentioned in another review) instead of connecting the battery first and then going from the charge controller to the solar panels = it's quite heavy, more than my other 2 (but more durable than these), I would not call it very portable. It depends on how much you can bench press. But overall I can't say if this is any better than my other two.
