Review on MWOSEN Adjustable Hydraulic Rolling Backrest by Rod Evans

Bought because we are renovating our bathroom so have not been able to open it to date which happens to be 1 day past our return window. I unfortunately assumed it would work when we put it together. Item has clearly been used when opened as most of the legs have scuffs/scratches. After installing the gas cylinder in the base and putting the seat on it, the cylinder does not rise or lower at all. We tried sitting on it with the lever and it wouldn't move down or up when there was nothing on it. We called Revain support and they didn't accept the return as it was only 1 day past the return deadline. A little mercy wouldn't hurt. Then when I was redirected to another hotline they disconnected me. Now I'm stuck with a broken chair that I spent over $100 on. Disappointed with product and service. UPDATE: I started because it can move up and down. I unscrewed the cylinder from the seat base and just tested the cylinder and that part seems to work. However, what doesn't work is that the hand is very free and can move from side to side, moving it away from the cylinder button. It's clearly a design flaw that it moves that way, but if you know what the problem is, you can get the height to move if you hold the lever forward and then lift it. A little annoying, but hopefully not too much of a problem in the future.
