I just received it, so I can't report actual usage. What bothered me the most was whether the bags were in a bad order (Febreze or something similar). I asked this question and was assured that there was no such smell. I used to spend quite a bit of time at the grocery store going through all the bags and trying to find one that didn't have any added flavors. I thought I'd found one, but when I got home and started using them, I found the same old Febreze smell - although there was no indication of it on the box. Luckily, these pouches don't have an added odor. They look sturdy and are easy to open. With some other brands it is difficult to find the side with the hole and then it is difficult to separate the plastic. These bags have no problem. Easy to find the hole and open the pockets. So why only 3 stars? "Box" No. I opened the Amazon package expecting to find a box of packages. Instead, I found the packages themselves with no other packaging. I have no easy way of knowing if there are actually 100 bags and what they are made of. There's not even a warning not to put them on your head or let kids play with them (that's supposed to be funny). If I had known about this issue before buying it, I probably wouldn't have cared. More importantly, the pockets feel thick, but that's no indication of their durability. I can easily punch a hole in my pocket with my thumb without pressing hard. They don't stretch like thin bags. I don't think they would be good for holding something sharp. Additionally, there are no straps or handles/flaps that would allow for easy tying of bags when more than 1/2-2/3 full. But they are great for my needs. I rarely fill my bag more than half full so it's easy to clip it to the top of the bag and I don't usually have sharp or heavy objects. I use them to pick up discarded paper and small items in trash cans around the home and office. They are suitable for that.
