I gave this review 5 stars because it's not the company's fault I didn't do a little research. The 2007 Infiniti Coupe is not a proxy key fob. This means that the key has a chip and not a fob. So if, like me, you look at the company specs and you see a 2007 coupe, that's referring to a 2007 Infiniti G35S with a button start. If, like me, you've been given the "key" then this product isn't for you. I only wanted this for the new keychain look because the old square base works but looks very dated. So after buying 3 different keychains from 3 different companies, I took my old keychain and looked at the back of it. The FCC ID will tell you if it will work with your vehicle. So I found a key fob on eBay that works with my FCC ID. After opening all these keychains, the difference between the ones that finally worked for me was getting a silly keychain that looks fancy. Because the clever ones don't work with old cars.
