Review on Tools VISE GRIP Pliers 8 Inch 2078228 by Mike Phillips

I've been using Irwin tools for a long time. They're not the best, but usually acceptable in terms of value for money. Well, that doesn't appear to be the case with these pliers. I ordered them to replace a pair I lost in a landfill. The first ones I received had unacceptable "play" or wobble (as another buyer put it) on the hinge. This second pair wobbles less, but there is still free play and the pins aren't up to scratch. While waiting for the second pair, I ordered a pair of Stanley pliers. They have no wobble and the overall feel of the instrument is way better than this. Even cheap Walmart Hyper Tough pliers feel better. I am sending these back.
