I have purchased several more night lights over the years. Now, after Hurricane Maria, I'm sending fans and batteries to friends in Puerto Rico and I came across these lights. To my surprise, they offer excellent value for money. These lights are unique in that they stay on as long as there is movement in the proximal area. A friend noticed that they are too bright. Although the manufacturer and/or seller would not approve of this, I decided to reduce the glow and did so by simply removing one of the batteries, which was replaced with a length of speaker wire (g 16 or so). and it worked. I tried to connect two batteries but the lamp doesn't work with one battery; Photos are attached. Instead of using a piece of double-sided adhesive, I routed the cord through two of the three holes on the back and just hung them on the wall where the lighting would be best for that area. photos included.
