Simplicity, ease of use and reliability are the main advantages of this product. This should be standard equipment when purchasing a Blink system. I hated the base station hanging on the wall by the power cord, it looks so much better that way. One thing they don't mention is that it works on the bottom outlet OR the top. I have a large three prong plug that needs to be plugged into a bottom socket. Since the plug for the base unit is not grounded, it plugs in and basically flips this deal. Works like a champ! Whoever came up with this needs a medal!
