The way the shoes are put together reminds me of all the days you wore hiking sandals and your last two years, the tread is thick, the shower pad is great. i walk on water walk on mud i walk on rocks i take them to the sea i take them to the river the only thing you have to do is wash them thoroughly with fresh clean water and dry them but other than that they are good sturdy shoes i bought three pairs two black and a brown one, after buying my first one I bought two more which I recommend to anyone for everyday use or a wild man in the bushes
