Approximate voltage only! +/- 0.15V - at the same time, the focus is on build quality and aesthetic design

Likes: Build quality - Excellent. The color of the LED is amber and not very bright: easy on the eye at night. They have taken the time to match the colors of the USB connector to the amber color of the LED. Lots of attention to detail! What I don't like: The voltage readout has a very loose tolerance of +/- 0.15 VI. I bought this mainly because I need an easy way to display the battery/alternator voltage. The charging speed didn't really matter to me as the 2A charging speed is pretty standard. I expected it to work well and didn't bother. not focused on charge rate). I checked the voltage readings on two multimeters, both gauges give the same results (the fact is my gauges weren't wrong). (One of my gauges is a Fluke.) I tested two USB car adapters. One reads low, the other reads high. The reason I'm testing two of them is because after buying the first one I noticed it was consistently low at around 0.15V. I bought the second one to see if I just got a bad one. No, the second was high at about 0.1V. As an electrical engineer, I'm amazed at how far off the voltage readings on these things can be. Getting accurate readings is a breeze, so someone's young family member must have been able to do the design. The build quality is excellent. Weirdly, I found a difference between the two I ordered. One of the pins was made of a nickel-plated or chrome-plated non-ferrous material, the other of ferrous metal. If the voltage gauge was as well designed as the build quality I would give it 5 stars.
