Very even heat distribution: Bakes the base thoroughly

Bakes the base well whether you are making dough or crackers. It heats up very evenly so it doesn't burn. Sauce and toppings cook so quickly that when it's done, so does the crust. Make sure the crust is properly floured: if it's sticky, it'll stick the stone together and getting it clean is a chore. The stone is well made and securely packaged. I bought this specifically for my convection oven and it was a nice addition. It's big enough for a regular frozen pizza and works well for focaccia, naan, flatbread and the like.
