Review on 13357 Geosciences Industries Intro Collection by James Wiley

I find this collection of stones to be excellent value for money. Stone and mineral sets of this size and quality tend to be significantly more expensive. A few rocks visited their neighbors and one lost its tag en route to my house, but that was an easy fix. None of the stones are broken and they all look like good quality and decent sized specimens. The booklet that comes with it seems like a good introduction to earth science and I'll read it carefully as I was never introduced to the subject in school (my bad). Recently about 6 months ago I started getting interested in rocks and minerals and bought a couple of inexpensive rocks and minerals kits that require you to identify the rocks yourself and a couple of field guides as well as a few mixed packs of polished stones (one of which came with several stones and fossils). ). I was struggling to identify the rocks and minerals in the sets I bought and I think this cool 75 rocks and minerals set will help me a lot with my learning and it looks really awesome. It's more money than I've spent on anything else, but well worth it. Oh, and the first 9 minerals in this set are 9 Mohs scale minerals so you don't have to buy a separate Mohs scale set which can cost you $15-$20. UPDATE: The price has almost doubled since I bought it. Too bad.
