Examine the filters and you will see that this is the highest rated filter. Outperforms many synthetic media filters including the Purolator filter. The grippy texture of this can is good. This filter does not require a filter wrench (when properly installed). Excellent filter for extended drain intervals. Larger but fits both Toyota 22R/RE series and Chrysler 3.5L HO engines. I wonder why engineers (and I am one of them) specify smaller filters. The supply chain could be greatly simplified (making such parts even cheaper) if they all used a standard size filter (like this one - same size as the Motorcraft FL-1A and Fram PH-8A).
