I purchased this because I have plantar fasciitis and wanted a cold pack that delivered ice directly to my arch and heel area. This is almost perfect for that. The thin ice pack is Velcro'd in the wrap and is removable. It freezes quickly in about 1 hour or a little more. I just remove the pack from the freezer and adhere it to the wrap and then close. The only negative is that my foot is thinner than the ice pack is wide so the closure is not a tight closure around the foot since the ice pack (when frozen) is stiff. Other than this, it works to deliver 20 minutes of targeted cold therapy to my arch and heel depending on where I place it.
