18 Results of a truck driver's intervention

UPDATE 5/23/2021 (2nd replacement) - I contacted Revain and they sent me a replacement with no issues. Customer service was pleasantly fast and uncomplicated. The device arrived within 2 days. While testing the replacement device, I noticed a strange bug when turning up the volume - if I went past volume 6+, the device would automatically restart. The screen of the replacement device looks much better than the first device that was delivered - by that I mean a lot less bubbles on the screen protector. (Rating changed from 1 star to 4 stars --- First unit failed after 1 month of use, second unit has unnecessary error but still usable) UPDATE 05/22/2021 (1st unit) - Monitor stopped working and still working. I get a "No Signal" message on the screen even when the device is connected to my phone or tablet. The return date was 05/21/2021 and unfortunately I am stuck with a non-working device that I can no longer return. 1 day late, what a waste. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Flatbed Trucker & Gamer: This is an absolute must for every truck driver. First of all I want to say that thanks to this device I saved myself a lot of money. I originally planned to buy the Samaung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus ($1200 + $20/month for unlimited). I'm glad I didn't buy it and went for a cheap but quality device instead. The touchscreen is very responsive, very similar to my Samsung Galaxy S10 touchscreen. The tablet is bright and colorful. I would compare the sound to being a little quieter than a laptop, but it still sounds nice and clear. In my current setup I have the monitor connected to the Samsung Dex on my phone. Samsung Dex effectively turns your monitor into a 14-inch tablet, leveraging your phone's specs to deliver high performance and internet speeds. (PS: Even though your phone powers the monitor, you can still use your real phone as a standalone device, HUGE PLUS!). You will notice from the photos that I was able to connect my phone to NIVIDIA GeForce Now when playing Steam games that I personally own. With WiFi, I can play games with high-quality, current-gen console graphics. When using GeForce Now on 4G, the game's graphics look like PS2 graphics; It's still playable if you don't care too much about the graphics. The photos show the screen used while traveling ---- I have Google Maps open and because it simulates a computer I could have other applications on the screen e.g. B. the Pilot Travel Center app so I always know which gas stations are nearby. .Issues and fixes: Always connect your phone's display first before connecting the device or cable that powers your phone. If you don't set up your Samsung Dex app, you're limited to which apps can be "full screen." To fix this, simply "Connect to Samsung Dex", then go to "Settings", then go to "Samsung Dex Labs" and enable the "Force Resize" option. I had to set these options to get NVIDIA GeForce in full screen mode. Not all apps are optimized for full-screen mode, but this small tweak to your settings may fix the problem. CONS: The device requires a phone battery to turn on and does not have its own power supply.; However, it does offer multiple slots for charging your phone through the monitor. GENERAL INFO: I didn't even say that such a device has a high emulation potential. The device as a whole has great potential for so many things and I highly recommend it for that!
