We need something comfortable that is still durable. I finally made my decision and bought this recliner. At the moment we are already happy with him, including children and husband. First off, assembly was easy. Well, at least that's how it seemed to me because I just sat on the sidelines with the kids while my husband put everything together in 30 minutes. (I should add that it's really comfortable, so if not, maybe a little longer.) When we were done, we all tried out the chair. Husband just fitted in length and width. (He's 5ft 7in and 170lbs for reference.) We live in Louisiana and it gets pretty hot here, so the mesh back AND seat came in handy, especially in the summer. There is still enough padding. The padded faux leather armrest reclines, so give us the option to use it with or without it. The height of the headrest and the entire chair is adjustable. The lockable tilt function is an additional plus! (didn't think it was necessary until it was available lol). Another note: the wheels slide smoothly, although we don't usually move much when seated, but kids like to pretend it's a car sometimes. The price is a bit higher compared to other similar ergonomic chairs on the market. But you know the saying, you get what you pay for, and our whole family believes we made the right investment.
