It's a workhorse, suitable for other office equipment

I had a huge amount of old files and papers that needed to be shredded and this machine got the job done. Not many jams unless I tried to check the volume or thickness of paper to be crammed in right away and they were easy to clear. I recommend no more than 8 sheets at a time. The device will shut down to cool down if you use it continuously for more than an hour, but it doesn't take long to get back to work and still offers a nice break. The only downside is that the recycle bin can get full before it turns off automatically, and emptying it can get a bit messy.
