Review on 🌿 Enhance Planted Aquariums with NilocG Aquatics' Intense Atomic Inline Co2 Atomizer Diffuser by Tammy Henshaw

Revainrating 2 out of 5

No longer effective

I bought this hoping to minimize CO2 consumption in a 17g tank. I installed the diffuser as far away from the exhaust line as possible and it seemed to work fine at first, but it only lasted a couple of months. I've been going through CO2 very quickly over the last few months, mainly because I had to increase the flow with this diffuser to make it work properly. After a few months the diffuser stopped working and I had to turn my CO2 settings high to see any diffusion. Cons: If it actually worked, it would saturate the reservoir with small bubbles, making the entire reservoir "cloudy". in bubbles. Something other diffusers don't typically do in my experience. Yes, it dissolved well, but it didn't make the water as clean and transparent. If you want to take clear pictures, you have to wait for your CO2 to stop working. Leaky fittings - If you try to connect your hoses to these, you will find that they never tighten and are constantly dripping. You can get lucky sometimes, but after cleaning the filter you have to risk a leak every time. Even after cleaning the diffuser it still doesn't work and unfortunately I have to adjust it due to leaking plugs.
