so with the exchange rate it's closer to 75 cents)

My last cutting board was bought at a dollar store for a dollar. (I actually lived in Canada so with the exchange rate it's closer to 75 cents). I didn't expect it to last very long, but it was a soldier and it withstood my abuse for over two years. When I recently moved in I decided it was time for a new one. Enter this gourmet cutting board I spent $13 on. I've only had it 6 weeks and it's already so twisted it's unsuitable for a haircut - which I bought it for, by the way! It's only about 3/8 inch thick so it's not surprising that washing after use has warped the wood (see picture). I think it's too late to return it so I'll throw it away instead. Don't waste your money, this cutting board sucks.
