Like many reviewers, I agree that the live console does not look as pretentious and bulky as in the photographs. But still, its dimensions remain very impressive, it is the largest console in the Sony lineup and the largest console in the world in general. I even had to lift the TV on the bracket, because in the horizontal position it blocked part of the screen at the bottom. But I even got high from this, because I love it when "you take it in your hands - you shake a thing!". The software part is beyond praise. All sorts of animations, the smoothness of the dashboard, a huge number of fine-tuning, from the length of the video clip recording to HDR adjustment. We can say that the PS5 has taken a step towards the PC, from now on, a lot can be customized. The main innovation is the DualSense gamepad. No review or YouTube video can convey all its beauty. On paper, the technology looks like just a fun feature - point vibration of the gamepad. What have we not seen vibrations in gamepads? But, it turns out, not everything is so simple. New vibration feedback technology, coupled with a "pumped" speaker on the gamepad, create a unique system that contributes to immersion in the game world. The gamepad has learned to give out different types of vibration - tapping, twitching, point pulses, "flowing" vibration from one edge of the controller to the other, even vibration that simulates movement on a smooth surface. And this is not even the whole list, but only the brightest moments that I remembered. Again, it's impossible to describe, it just has to be experienced. The second feature of the gamepad is adaptive triggers. Here again, wild delight, vibration feedback and resistance of triggers are rebuilt instantly, with different steps, with different pressing force, with different sensations. Sony managed to do something completely new and unique. In my 30s, I no longer expected some kind of “wow effect” from the PS5. I sincerely believed that I had already seen everything. However, after buying a PS5, I was hacking in the Astro Play Room until five in the morning with burning eyes, like a boy. And it's worth it.
