I read the description and knew they would be smaller than normal size which is fine with me but unlike any others I've used is the plastic that connects the cups within the strip , too flexible. so that the pots curve in a circle when you hold them. (See photo.) The lids are very strong, which is good, but they aren't strong enough. I have not decided yet, whether to leave them as "garbage cans" just for mixing colors or return them for something more substantial. for more fixed money of course. By the way, I have paint under my nails, no muck! ;O) UPDATE: After using the pots for about a week I will DEFINITELY not be buying them again, even as "garbage" mixing pots. Flexibility (see photo) is just too much. You can't open more than one without risking flipping an already opened one. And when they have a bit of crust under the lids (like all pots I've ever used) it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to remove the lid because the too-flexible connectors twist so much and offer no resistance to the lids pulling together.
