Pretty foolproof

I lend my tools to my family. My previous VOM had a cable outlet that would blow the internal fuse if misused. This often happened when someone wasn't paying attention or didn't know what they were doing. This unit doesn't have such a high-amp jack, so it's largely immune to damage. Easy to use once you know the basics of electricity.
