Review on πŸ’‡ Stylish France Luxe Basic Side Comb in Caramel Horn – A Perfect Hair Accessory by Julie Braaten

Ineffective product doesn't stay on track

I have been using side combs for over 20 years and have waited a long time for these combs because of the high acquisition costs. When I finally got them this Christmas I was so excited. Until I put them on my medium length hair and found that combs work much better at less than a tenth the cost. France - You can leave Luxe combs - they can't even do the most basic side comb function. They are also far from deluxe. Despite the high price and the quirky tissue paper label, the combs in the box weren't worth the wait. Unfortunately, a lot of money was spent on this purchase. These combs don't hold my medium length straight hair and I wasn't happy with them. My friend also tried them on her curly hair with the same result - they slip out instantly and cannot be fixed. Even the "fancy" paneling is just cheap plastic and really not that fancy. Now, having seen and tried these combs, I have no hesitation in saying that even a dollar is too much to pay for a pair of these. And at $25 a pair, it was a real mugger. Ladies, if you use side combs to keep your hair in place, please do yourself a favor and just buy regular side combs like those worn by Goody or Sasson. - They easily hold even the most unusual hair. Sorry honey, I know you got what I said, which I really wanted, but little did I know that they wouldn't do the simple thing they were supposedly made for, and if I had a different one they'll go to the donation basket to find some poor guy.
