I had Adcom units in the 80's then sold them to McIntosh then switched to Naim and Linn Electronics (English/Scottish) and whilst they were all good Adcom was the best value for money and my regret is the most that I ever got rid of him. . So I recently rebuilt an old/tired system and bought this preamp and an Adcoms GFA-565se (250w) to drive a pair of audiophile Epos M22 amps which are notoriously hard to drive (6ohms and only 88dpm). ) and ultra-detect every bug in your system. Especially after connecting them to the Audioquest King Cobra Interconnects, WOW!
