I do not normally write reviews, that being said it is the complete failure of this product to hold up to any of the standard purposes gaffe tape is supposed to fulfill that has prompted me too. Mainly so that others will not have to suffer the misfortune of using this product. First off I manage a venue with a semi permanent stage set up on a carpeted stage. To avoid tripping on the xlrs I gaffe them all in place. This also helps my microphones from wandering too far on the stage from where they are intended to be. Purchasing this product it initially seemed of less quality then other gaffe tapes that I have used in the past, it lacks the normal cloth material, but the worst part is the adhesive. After only being in place a few weeks the adhesive began to separate from the tape and stick itself onto both the carpet and xlr cables, rendering 7 xlrs virtually garbage being unable to get the adhesive off of them. All in all gaffe tape is supposed to be able to be removed without leaving residue but this tape acts more like it's primary purpose is to leave reside. I just as well could have used duct tape, it would have done less damage.
