Ideal for leftovers! My kids aren't that young anymore, they're both 18 years old (twins), they're in high school, and they both have jobs and are involved in all sorts of things. So the four of them are rarely home for dinner at the same time every day. My husband works nights, my kids work after school, and I'm home during the day. So every day I pack lunch for at least one person and save it for later. These containers are great for that, especially since my kids sometimes just grab something to eat on the way to work. So I can put their food in there and they'll actually take it out and have dinner when they get to work. It wouldn't work if I just used a plate and tried to cover it with foil or cling film. Go to some takeaway restaurants. But what really makes them amazing is that they are microwave and dishwasher safe. You get food separation and sections that you would use with a disposable container, but the easy cleaning and reusability of thick food containers. Great design.
