Low cost, security and convenience
I have a 14 foot gate across from the driveway. The Mighty Mule gate opener left enough wiggle room for my dogs to open enough to squeeze through and escape. After several months of getting in and out of the car to secure the gate with rubber bands, I discovered the MM FM143 gate lock. Installation was easy, although the instructions for the electrical connections could probably have been written more clearly. Now the gate is securely locked with a push of a button on the remote control, which activates the opener. The device is solidly built and can be opened with a key in the event of a power failure.
