Suction cups are not intended for this product. The product is supplied without suction cups. The opening of the suction cup is too large for the mounting holes on the heater. All of my suction cups were torn as I slowly and carefully moved the suction cup from the big hole to the small one. This is what needs to be done to keep the suction cups on the heater. But the dent immediately tore open the neck of the suction cup. That was the case with all 3 cups. Ugh, now I don't know how to keep the heater in my tank so I can see if the product even works.
