Please read all the reviews about the complexity of the installation. First of all, this is not one person's work. This requires a team of two people with two leaders. And patience. I suggest working with someone other than your significant other unless you wish to divorce. Once you have received this item, go to Lowes or the hardware store immediately. You will need to purchase: 2 #6 3" machine screws to replace the ones that are too short. You will also need two sufficiently large washers and two wing nuts. Don't worry, your #6 wing nuts are a tiny fit. Photo from another reviewer, which is where I got the idea. We threaded the cords through the holes on the back of the light. We used these cords to direct the light to the screws and then secured with washers and wing nuts after cutting the cord. Such a pain and hassle, but for $90 it looks and works well. Also, this one comes with a glass diffuser instead of a plastic one, which I assume will hold up better over time and maybe look better. , but I warn you, I hope the review will be useful!Good luck!
