As for size 12, I bought size 12 and they fit just right. They're pretty comfortable, but only lasted a year, after which they started falling apart. The toe strap began to separate from the main sliders, the soles began to crack and eventually just ripped through leaving me with 2/3 of the sandal (from the beginning of the front strap to the back of the sliders, the toe box was completely ripped off.) I really liked the sandals and their design (maybe I'll buy them again someday) but I would consider them temporary compared to some big brand flip flops I've had for 5+ years with little wear on the foot padding. I was supposed to take some pictures but I've already thrown them away and don't want to dig through the trash to find them.
