I really like this pill dispenser, as someone who does have trouble remembering whether I took my medicine, this is an awesome idea! However, it was difficult to follow the instructions enclosed.After tinkering with it, I finally understood how it works and decided that a video would provide a better illustration. A couple of things to note, first I do not like the opaque black cover because I can’t tell when i’m out until of vitamins/pills until it advances to the slot with the orange bar. It would be nice to see the vitamins.Second, my pill dispenser did not come with any labels so as I advance from one day to another, I don’t know if it’s Monday’s dose or Thursday’s dose? It defeats the purpose if I have to keep up with the days of the week myself.And third, the pill collector is likely to get lost. I wish they would have found away to affix the collection cup onto the pill dispenser to keep it altogether. It could have been as simple is drilling a small hole through the container holder and using string to attach it to the dispenser so that they are always together.Positive features worth noting. I like that it has a child protection lock. It doesn’t require batteries so maintenance is reduced to simply refilling your pills as needed. I don’t have to worry about the batteries dying leaving the dispenser inoperable. I also think its great that you can mount it two ways using adhesive or permanently with screws. The dispenser is very easy to use, light, attractive and it does a great job holding and dispensing my pills.Overall, I think its a great idea and it adequately addresses the issue of missed medication/vitamins. I think i’ll tweak it and make it more functional by using stickers to indicate which day of the week so I know which day of the week goes with each dose dispensed.
