NO NEED TO BUY NEW SPRINGS Replaced broken springs with these end caps, they work great without springs cheaper and better than springs Awning keeps tighter crank cap keeps awning locked wherever you partially open it. I stuck my old canopy pole into the cordless drill after bending it with pliers and hammering it on the flat on the other end to hold it firmly in the drill. The awning goes up and down with ease, which is exactly how they should have done it from the start.
