I almost bought an American made lightbulb from a private website that sells American made lightbulbs. It had to cost 4 times the cost of those lamps. I wondered if failing this cheap bulb was worth the hassle and took a chance. I still don't know. I'm waiting for a response from the seller. Removing the lightbulb from my car takes 15 minutes but the first time it took 3 hours because I was trying to do it legally only to have a different locking mechanism than what all the youtube videos showed. So it's still a gamble whether this Chinese-made bulb is worth the hassle of an extremely premature failure. I did NOT touch the bulb and was very careful, I put on gloves from the box for installation. You see how pure he is.
