We bought this bike for my 4 year old son and I can immediately say that it is very durable and will last a long time. I haven't tested this theory, I've only had the bike 2 days, but it feels good and the components are well made. The reason for 4 stars is that the instructions are very confusing. Rather, they pack a general assembly booklet that applies to every model of bike they sell. So you need to read to understand which instructions apply to the bike you bought. And in many cases, I couldn't find the direction for our model, so I had to scroll through. It wasn't brain research, but it was confusing nonetheless. AN IMPORTANT NOTE: When you screw in the pedals, one of the pedals turns to the left, not the right! At first I thought it was a broken pedal. Try turning in the opposite direction if you are having trouble threading. It is not always right, left, free. Overall very happy with this purchase!
