The scanner connects to tablets and mobile phones via Bluetooth, which is very convenient. You can also connect to any PC with a USB port using the included dongle. The scanner has only one button and no screen. To set it up, you need to shoot the QR barcodes in the user manual (which you should keep in a safe place). The scanner is very fast and accurate when reading small 1D and 2D barcodes, especially QR and Data Matrix. It can also read long 1D barcodes, but that gets a bit more complicated. If you need something portable that easily plugs into anything and you work with short 1D or 2D barcodes, this is a great buy.
