That's it. High quality leather on my new boondockers in fudge. The weight of the shoe is more due to the rubber sole. The frame looks decent with black plastic trim. Overall, it looks like you can protect these boots from rain well enough to still keep the rain out. The midsole is cushioned and provides arch support. Shoe size always sucks these days. I am a size 10. My sneakers are usually a size 11 and my shoes are a size 10.5. Shown are Bundocker shoes against Clarke's Bushacre in a size 10.5. Boondockers can be seen a little longer. Thin/medium socks fit me fine, but I would order my normal shoe size if I want to wear thick hiking socks or have wider feet. The toe box is similar to my Clarkes but sits a little closer to the end of the shoe. So if you wear thick hiking socks or have a wider foot, order your normal shoe size. Hope this helps you decide.
