Tried a pair of Thursday Boot Company boots that cost twice as much. Returned Thursday Boots FYI. I liked them because they look more casual/rough and were actually much more comfortable on the outside of the box. They have a little arch padding/support that other boots don't have and I'm happy to report they break in well. I get compliments on her all the time. Ordered a half size smaller than my usual size and they fit great.

I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't a bit damaged right out of the box. Received them just in time about a week ago. After unpacking, I checked them carefully for defects and found none. The stitching and overall craftsmanship is on par with any high quality boot I have (and I have no others). I then put them on to make sure they fit and walked around the room. Overall, it looks like you can protect these boots from rain well enough to still keep the rain out. The midsole is cushioned and provides arch support. Shoe size always sucks these days.
