I made the decision to buy this new device around two months ago in order to replace the one I had been using. In any event, the recording was written to an empty disk at a speed of up to 70 mb/s, which is quite a lot for a removable hard drive. I feel as though I need to state right off the bat that I am pleased with the speed. Other from that, there appears to be nothing spectacular, but there is also nothing to criticize about it. The disk does not make any noise and does not heat up, even while operating for an extended period of time; the memory is a genuine two terabytes (1.81 real volume); the only thing that puzzles me is that the silicone does not cover the entirety of the chassis. So, I wouldn't bother testing its longevity.
