To get good quality scans, I would advise you to use standard software and try the effect of the settings on the operation of the device. When scanning through TWAIN and WIA modules in applications, I was much less pleased with the result. Photo distortions (mixing) were also observed when scanning through these photo modules in high resolution. Maybe I haven't tested long enough to get an opinion.
