Review on 🔌 Teegan Tapes Anti Slip Tape: Waterproof & Heavy Duty Outdoor Traction, 4 Inch x 30 Feet, Black by Samik Drusky

Updated 1/17/21 Spare roll so I can try it in other areas I haven't had a chance to try as the first roll didn't work that well, why i got it *First review: I bought this for the bath because my parents sometimes have trouble slipping in the shower. I received it on the 4th or 5th December and cleaned the tub making sure it was 100% dry and even wiped it down with isopropyl alcohol to remove any oil residue or anything that may have been on the tub. It's been about 3 weeks now and my dad says he has already had to replace 4 of the 6 strips he used in the tub and he has placed 2 strips just outside the tub which he says the corners are peeling off have and once the corner peels off and it even gets a bit of dirt/dust underneath it never sticks again. I don't think this is a good bath product. I think it would work well for other advertised purposes like stairs. I don't know, maybe the hot water will loosen and loosen the glue, but the tub is slick so I assumed this wouldn't be a problem since it's advertised/pictured with a lady installing it in the tub. With the parts my dad already had to remove/replace, over half the reel ended up in the trash in just 3 weeks. Maybe we're doing something wrong.? For now we will continue to use it until it's all gone as there isn't much left, but I'm not sure I'll be using shower/bath tape again. A few strips stick perfectly and seem to stick perfectly, so I don't know what the problem is. I will eventually have to switch to rollers or sprays. I had high hopes that this would work for us, but if the roll wasn't almost gone I would ask them for a refund to be honest. I would recommend buying it for uses like stairs, smooth floors that require little traction, and even on a boat and a few other places, but for the reason I bought it I'm just not entirely happy with its performance . :(
