I've added some photos of how I made it (please see them). Some people put the faucet on the bottom of the mat first. Due to the size of my project I sprayed the stain onto the garage floor with some all purpose cleaner, let it dry and then applied the tape. This will be my bass mat so I wanted it to hold up well. I exaggerated a little but it works just perfectly. Once everything was in place, I put on some funky music and started dancing, making sure every spot was trampled. Nothing slips, this tape is real.
